PCN/GP Pharmacist Salary
Hi all, trying to get a sense of where I stand (or where I could be heading) in terms of pay for PCN/GP practice pharmacist roles. Would really appreciate it if people could share:
∙Salary/rate per hour of self-employed.
∙Years post-registration
∙Role & day-to-day responsibilities (e.g. medication reviews, structured medication reviews, long-term condition clinics, minor illness, care home work, QOF/audits, prescribing queries)
∙IP status — are you an independent prescriber? If not, are you being supported/funded to do the course?
∙ Progression — has there been a clear path upward, or does it feel like a ceiling?
Curious whether IP status makes a real difference to pay or whether it’s more about experience and scope of responsibility.
Also interested to hear regional differences if any.
Thanks in advance!
