Scandal fans: how old were you when you first watched the show? Did you watch it live? What were your thoughts on it?

I watched Scandal live throughout high school and college (back when Hulu was FREE and we just had to wait to watch the episode the day after it aired!) and this was the first time I remember a show causing a MOVEMENT.

Everybody and their momma was talking about it, at the time! It was so fun to watch and discuss every week. I haven’t felt this way about a show since Insecure was running!

I started a rewatch and the episodes are sooo dramatic in true Shonda fashion, but the show still has a special place in my heart. I was obsessed with Olivia & Fitz back then, which is…something. Now I watch it and really understand Mellie a lot more.
