I know we're all sick of this topic, but is COVID circulating again?

My husband brought home something gross from work, like a head cold but so brutal he's throwing up from the coughing and getting nosebleeds, and today I feel bad.

I have contacted my doctor but haven't heard back yet. There's no current information I can find from the local or federal governments, just broken links and a weird page saying it came from China with a picture of the Angry Cheeto on it.

Other than taking Mucinex, staying hydrated, and Lysoling the house, what else can I do? Is there a current vaccine even out that might have helped?
