How to get a baddie gf?

Problem/Goal:
I want to know what actually makes someone stand out to attractive women (“baddies,” for lack of a better term 😭). I know looks matter to some extent, but I’m curious what really makes someone go from “match” to “girlfriend.”

Context:
My ex was honestly a baddie. Looking back, I genuinely don’t know what I did that made her fall for me. We were together for a while, but after the breakup it feels like I’ve forgotten how I even got into that relationship in the first place.

Now I’m back on Bumble. I still match with women I’m really attracted to, so getting matches isn’t really the issue. The problem is that most conversations don’t go anywhere…they’re either dry, not very responsive, or just fizzle out after a few messages.
So now I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong. Is it the way I text? Do I need to flirt more? Be more confident? Ask them out sooner? Or is this just how dating apps are?
