My cat ate about one inch of thin ribbon

So my unintelligent grey little man ate about an inch of ribbon. By the time I noticed and managed to pry open his mouth, he had already swallowed it. Should I be super worried? This is the same little man that steals my dog’s kibble and tries to eat plastic.
