Is there anything that actually stops cousins from marrying?

My cousin (26m) and I (21f) are basically dating and we've always talked about getting married officially. We both have different last names and aside from someone actually telling on us how would anyone ever know or even suspect we're related?

Has anyone done this? Or done some form of ceremony like a wedding?
