I wonder how some Engenes manage to support both ENHYPEN and Evan

I mean, to me, it feels like a situation where I am the daughter in a family, I loved both my mom and dad, but all of a sudden, dad decides to walk out on the family to pursue a new love with another woman. consequently, the relationship between them gets completely ruined, to the point where they never mention each other again. in a scenario like this, how could I possibly love and respect my dad the same way as before?

It's just a metaphor, but ever since when I accepted what happened, this thought keeps crossing my mind. if I were the daughter in that situation, I would obviously side with my mom, unable to forgive my dad for betraying her. the same goes for the current situation between ENHYPEN and Evan.

Yet, I've seen a lot of Engenes here saying they'll support both of them, even while admitting that the two sides don't look like they're on good terms. at this point, I wonder how they manage to do that. because it's so hard for me to support both sides when there's been such a clear falling out.

To clarify, if they were still on good terms—like the case of mark and NCT (though I know their situations are completely different)—I'm sure I could support both.
I'm not saying this to blame or judge anyone who supports both of them at all. rather, I just genuinely curious and want to hear other perspectives.
