Can I be a devotee if I don’t plan on making her an altar?

I feel drawn towards santa muerte & I have for a long time now. One of the only things stopping me is that I’m scared of making her an altar because I feel like it will trigger my OCD. My OCD causes me to obsess over putting items in the “correct” area & usually I will spend a lot of time and energy trying to arrange things until it feels “right” or satisfying. If I feel like an item isn’t in the correct place or isn’t organized correctly it causes me a lot of distress. I’m scared of creating an altar because I’m scared I will obsess over organizing everything properly & putting everything in the “correct” spot. Would santa muerte take offense if I didn’t create an altar for her?
