Should I play the original Steins;Gate or wait for Reboot?

I've been mulling this over for a while and just have not been able to come to a consensus. I started Chaos;Head NoaH and got through the whole common route, but I'm losing steam trying to get all the other endings just to unlock the true ending. So I thought about just moving on to Steins;Gate but then I remembered that the remake is coming out. I know it has a new Gamma Worldline route, but I've seen people say it has less overall content because apparently it reuses Steins;Gate Elite's script and people have said that had less content than the original. I don't know how valid that is. Having watched the Steins;Gate anime multiple times I think I'll enjoy the VN enough to actually make it through anything I need to to get to the true ending, Chaos;Head is just... a lot. But I also don't want to read the VN twice in short order, so I'm torn on whether to play the original which I already own and get any and all content that Reboot might not have, or just wait for Reboot and do that.
