**A few of the Books that blew me away:**

**Satantango by László Krasznahorkai**

Man, this book was something! It's a slow burn. The language is convoluted and the sentences drag on. The perspectives keep switching between the many characters and you don't really know what's going on until the third or fourth chapter. There's a foreboding sense of impending doom that looms over the estate and its inhabitants, and when the story starts going, it gets intense. Loved the prose and structure, and how ambient the writing was. Planning on checking out his other works as well as other Hungarian novelists such as Magda Szabó.

**Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro**

Went into this one blind, and I'm glad I did. The worldbuilding is done masterfully. Details are revealed in little tidbits, as the main character goes off on long tangents that somehow finds its relevance at a later part of the story. Very Dostoevsky-esque. The story isn't super eventful, but the process of worldbuilding itself is enough to get you intrigued. That's why I couldn't put this book down.

**Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman**

While browsing at a bookstore, I picked this one up, read the first sentence and was like, "Ok, I'm sold, I'm reading this". Went through books 1-3 in like 2 weeks and going through the fourth entry now (read 3 other books inbetween). This is what I'd describe pure, distilled fun packed inside a novel. I absolutely adore Dinniman's writing style and humor, and I can't wait to binge the rest of the series.

[25/52] Started reading since April! Pround of my progress.
