HELP! What are these and should they be harvested?
Friend is a newbie and in his 80's. First bag failed, this is his 2nd try. He needs some help. He threw away all the stuff that identified what kind so some help please. Are these ready? How to tell when they are ready to be harvested? Should he leave the paper clip off now after fae and spritzing? He doesn't do puter and I'm now far behind him in age and have never had a garden of any kind so really no help here. Pics are of two different bags both from the same syringe.
Opened bags on July 2nd. He used liquid culture to inoculate, 1/2 in one and other 1/2 in 2nd bag. These are in his bathroom closet. He was doing FAE and spritzing 2x day. Added, so now doing 3x day. Should he do more? Less? He has a fan that never turns off that he was keeping inside the closet. Fan also has a heater and he programed it at 76 degs. Two days ago he took the fan out of the closet and hung it from the door knob just outside of the closet and temp has remained same inside closet. These seem to have taken off in a big way. Don't know what kind or when to harvest, should he leave the paper clip off at this stage. Thank you!!
