Books MC has my deadname

A series I really liked before my transition has a bunch of new books. I decided to listen to them again. It never bothered me before my transition that the MCs name was my deadname but now its kind of annoying to hear it. I'm enjoying the books besides that but every other sentence has my deadname as the story is third person. I'm debating dropping the series or powering through and using it as a sort of exposure therapy. Leaning towards dropping the books though.
