Hard for me to get excited for P4 remake when we progressed so far from the original games

This could completely be a me problem but something I did like about the persona 4 spin off games was that every game except for PQ was a game that moved the characters forward. The long summer of Inaba showed that the characters can grow without the protagonist but are all striving to be their best self. Like Yukiko pushing herself to learn to probably cook and manage for herself, Naoto learning to be more open and expressive, Yosuke being the new leader of the group etc. So to just go all the way back now is kinda disappointing. I didn’t feel this way for P3R cause there wasn’t any dedicated P3 spin off games. I’m curious if anyone feel the same as me
