Would There Ever Be an Exception?

Rules Question

This is purely a curiosity of mine that has been gnawing at me:

Bria has Prowess and grants Prowess to all other creatures you control. Narset grants Prowess to all creatures you control including herself. In essence, both cards end up with the same effect of all of your creatures having Prowess.

Is there any situation of card interaction where due to the slightly different wording of abilities where the two cards would end up in different states? Like a situation where Narset could lose her Prowess because she's granting it to herself but Bria would still have it in the same situation.

I've always been curious about this because the two cards came out within a year of one another. I could understand the difference if there was five years or more and WotC's method of wording has changed.
