Positive stories of root canals healing slowly (months)

experience/story

I had a root canal almost 3 months ago. Still in pain when chewing, or if my tongue touches my tooth. Especially with soft, sticky food. Endo said no infection, no inflammation. He said it’s a successful root canal and most probably periodontal ligament pain and to avoid chewing on the left side for 3-6 months.

PLEASE can I have some stories from dentists with patients who had similar symptoms to mine that eventually got better with time? πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

I am feeling so incredibly down. Especially because my tooth/nerve was healthy when I did the root canal. He suspected a crack (after root canal he said no crack).

I am in more pain now than I was before. And I feel like I am being pushed aside and ignored now. 😭
