PS5 Pro worth it at this time if wanting to get into physical games collecting?
Havent been in a position to buy games physically till now (Migrated from a third world country to Australia).
Built a PC just as the memory crisis hit and recently got a Switch 2 (had a switch 1 which I plan to sell.).
Before building the PC I used gaming laptops and a PS4 Pro(Which I had to leave behind due to weight/space restrictions).
Bought primarily digital as it was cheaper once you factor in sales and currency conversions. Would like to start my own physical collection now though. Switch would have the nintendo exclusives, 'cozy games' and select JRPGS.
Was thinking of getting the PS5(~1000 AUD w/ Disc Drive) for the heavier titles and to finish Horizon Forbidden west along with the DLC. Was thinking as this might be the last console with a drive that I may as well get the PS5 Pro (~1400 AUD w/o Disc Drive). Thoughts?
I would wait for a sale -perhaps black friday?- to buy. Right now, though, through my employee (gift cards) rewards program I can get a discount from JB HI FI for about 5%. Would still apply for any sales as well I think.
Secondhand market isnt so great where I am. Not many options.
