Nanak dukhiy sab sansar.

Story Time│ਹੱਡਬੀਤੀ

So recently me and my friend were both ranting, not seriously but jokingly how there's no options for us to find like-minded ppl.

We are both born and brought up in punjab up until our early teenage years (11-12 years) then later we moved abroad. And we spent our later teenage years and now adult years abroad.

We don't really have a place which we call home, nostalgia often takes us back to our pinds where we came from but we made great friends here too. So it's always a dilemma when it comes to choosing a place to call home.

And now when we try finding a partner or getting in relationship it's even more difficult because we aren't native here so dating someone from here is not possible as we feel the most comfortable in Punjabi. And dating someone from back home is also nearly impossible because we could only meet them online, and with all the things going around its not safe to look for relationships online. There are Punjabis here too, but most of them are born here, so our views doesn't clash.

And so we reached to the conclusions that we should be happy for what we have, studying in such a environment and country where job is guaranteed after a degree. And looking back in India, with all the protest going around, we often feel relieved that we moved out.

Hence the title: Nanak Dukhiya Sab Sansar.
