I'm house-sitting for a friend who told me to take care of a dog that doesn't exist. Part 1

I wanted to write this because of the weirdness of the situation,and frankly I'm looking for advice

I'm not a genius of the supernatural or demonic I didn't even believe until recently,but if god exists they don't dare to gaze into the house I'm in right now

Basically I was told by a friend of mine a few weeks ago that he had a event coming up and would need me to house-sit for a month.

I had been struggling with housing for a few years and had been couch hopping to avoid my parents normally I wouldn't take money for this as I would be living in there house but my friend insisted to give me some money for it.

since I'm gonna be talking about him I guess I'll call him John.

Anyway 300 bucks later I'm in the suburbs of Texas being toured around a 2 story house with a light blue paint on the outside.

"Here it is!" he said with a salesman smile,"This is pretty nice" I said almost if I had a house of my own to compare it to.he ushered me upstairs almost skipping the entire bottom floor aside from finger guns shooting at the kitchen and restroom.

We got to the upper hallway where he used his remaining breath to explain where the master bedroom and pantry was. I always thought having an upstairs pantry was stupid but I can't judge.

When we got back downstairs I glanced at a set of pet food bowls,it seems he noticed it to because when I went to say anything he audibly said "Welp! that's the end of the tour!" before opening the door and dragging my arm outside

I was surprised as he was never this violent nor this loud. I was thinking maybe he was just excited about the trip..but looking back I could see why he'd want out of the house so fast.

As he shut the door he used one hand the pull out of his pocket a note yellowish with age it read in printer ink read when you are away from the house by the time I was done he grabbed his keys and ran for the car.

John was always superstitious but never to a point where he was panicked to run away from something for no known reason

Even as a skeptic I took johns request to heart and Hopped in my car.but as I left I swear I heard scratching on the front door.

"There's a dog in my house but it's not a dog

Put food and water in the bowls

When you hear scratching open the back door

But never think about it if your on the property it doesn't exist got it?"

I was and still am a skeptic but what I read that afternoon

Scared the hell out of me

I few hours later I finally got the first sign of life from the "dog",whimpers coming from the kitchen

I went to the kitchen..and dead center where I heard the whimpers stood nothing I felt my spine get electricuted and was almost paralyzed.When I broke free i filled the bowls and ran outside of the house, Holding back whatever dared to climb up my throat I called John 4 times before an answer "yea?" Casual for someone that was dealing with this 7 hours ago

"What The FUCK John!" "What?"

"The dog?" "Are you outside of the house?"

"Yes I'm on the porch" I Heard beeping before seeing

"Get away from the house"

I drove a few miles away till I was a a bit out from my Uncle's school (Weird family)

"Ok John I'm miles away-now explain what the hell that thing is"

"Don't know but I was told how to keep it calm"

"How?"

"Well for one I said not to think about it while near the house but God forbid"

"Ok but how'd this even happen!"

"It was a really cheap house..The owner said a bit more but I kept it basic just until I could hit the road-"(He coughed in the way people do when they're about to start a speech)"

-1 The dog is harmless but you must not think about it

-2 It will eat and drink once and hour,set a timer.

-3 if you close your eyes it may attempt to make contact with you in normal dog ways

-4 it's harmless to guests but long staying visitors are considered owners

"Fucking awesome"I muttered

-5 if you start seeing a dog in your mind leave the house

-6 Don't follow the sounds

-7 Your mind isn't strong enough for what it wants to show you

-8 eventually you'll see it everywhere,eventually you'll exist with it

-9 doing what it wants keeps it in the house
