Getting event energy from main board

Because I am lazy (and space limited) I usually turned on the blue energy (sorry I don't know the name) so I use 4 energies each tap.

I am wondering if doing that affects how much side event energy acquisition. For example, purple/blue energy for fishing/gardening/birding. Would I get more if I stay basic 1 energy tab?

Anyone knows?
