I love having curly hair in the summer but hate the way it looks in the winter
I can’t escape it and i wanted to know if i was the only one…
I feel like summer outfits are more curls friendly, you can wear them in any type you like and it’s always going to be cute and nice with the outfit.
In winter, it’s the total opposite: i feel like my outfits are really not suiting my curly hair and i always end up straightening them, all winter, autumn and spring. Turtlenecks are nicer imo for me with straight hair ; cute Teddy jacket also because with curly hair it is « curly » on a curly texture and it’s quite strange ; big and fluffy sweater do not match curly hair because it’s fluffy over a fluffy thing ; etc. Maybe it will sound quite strange but i hope some people know what i am talking about.
I know i’ve been conditioned to think that way and thank god it’s only in my head, but this is « the last step » to accept my curly hair in a way and i can’t overcome it.
I’m seeking advice to see things differently; and not only like my hair when i’m in a cute miniskirt with a cute top and it’s like « boho vibe ». I have a very sporty vibe, very minimalist in the winter that do not match (imo, again) the non minimalist hair.
Hope i made sense…!
