Confused between Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
I have 2 options, either industrial engineering and management or mechanical engineering for my bachelor's. What should I take?
I initially had planned mechanical, but then I found out about IEM and started exploring, 70% of the syllabus is same except the management part in IEM.
I had this perception in mind that IEM will result in managerial positions, and also I could pivot to non core positions with less traction compared to if I were to take mechanical.
Can anyone further explain how these branches differ in the industry and how can one decide between these 2 options?
