Got placed in TCS digital at starting of 4th year but not happy with it... Wanna try for better company

Hey all, I'm 2027 batch student from tier 3 college. Got placed in TCS for digital role but joining Will be after graduation. Honestly I'm considering TCS as a backup option. I wanna try for some better companies off campus.

I've roughly 1 year how should I make the best use of this time?

Do cold emails actually work for getting internship?

Which platform given u best response?
