[N/A] Request money notification - is this a current scam?

Received Revolut notification about money send request from Person A to Person B. Neither name is familiar. Why would I even see such a request? I didn't hit Decline button because I wanted to first see the recommend action. I take it the request invalidates itself over time? If I hit Decline, then to the originator that would validate existence of my account.

Anyway, curious what people recommend. This is first time I have sent something odd with Revolut
