Random towing threat?

I left my truck at the service plaza last night to stay at my dad’s house which was 5 minutes away. My driver manager calls me at 7:30 am saying someone called and my truck is about to be towed. So I go there and no one at the loves or the turnpike authority has any idea what I’m talking about and that no one has been towed from there in ages. Was this just a random local towing company looking for unoccupied trucks to tow???
