Logging in at 12.05am counts as working day?

Does 12.05am to 4am or 8am on a working day contribute to an in-office day. Does it count as a day for in person norms(2 days a week)

Im in office and shit made me stay late. Was thinking of staying for a few more hours, swipe out at 11.55 and swipe in by 12.05 - does it count as a working day?
