teeth moving faster than expected ?🥴

Hi everyone, I am on tray 11 out of 25 for posterior crossbite and a narrow upper jaw.

Today I had my checkup appointment and my ortho was shocked. I do wear my trays and my elastics 22 hours a day as she told me, but she told me that I literally wore them so well that my teeth are so ahead of the current tray that im in.

The expansion and the general progress that should have happened at tray 20 happened now at tray 11 😆

She said i should wear my elastics for 16 hours a day now because she said that wearing them way too well and being ahead could also cause tracking issues???? Did this happen to anyone else ? I’m shocked 😳

I have OCD so I tend to do too much. I have alarm to change my elastics and wear my trays, but I didn’t know if this could be an issue.😭
