Friend Acting weird

There’s something really weird going on with a family I know quite well in my town. We’re part of the same charity organisation which I’ll not name, but we volunteer at the weekends and help out and stuff. 
Me and daughter are v good friends and also like hang out in mutual circles. Lately I’ve noticed that she’s been acting really weird online but her family are still acting completely normal at the weekends? Like she’s posting really weird song lyrics and completely random photos that are out of character, with strange things in the background out of focus. She would also send me the odd DM of completely random words strung together? I told our mutual friends and they’ve also noticed something weird is going on and think that the family are hiding something in general. 
Should we reach out to her and try to find out what is happening??
