Fuel EX Gen6 vs Habit Carbon
I actually have a Fuel EX Gen 6, fully custom, with carbon wheels, a Lyrik Ultimate in 150mm, carbon crank, MT7 brakes, carbon bars, etc.
This bike is great but quite heavy and sluggish. For a few months now I’ve been thinking about swapping the frameset for something snappier, maybe with less travel.
Today I got the opportunity to possibly grab a Habit Carbon frameset for a good price.
The Habit can be run at 130 or 140mm, I’d plan to run it at 130 with a piggyback shock, and drop my Lyrik down to 140mm.
So, should I pull the trigger, or is the benefit not really there?
