Why wasn't the ISA invoked in this case? She's allowed to go scot free?

The fact that K Shanmugan has openly come out and said that has said the exchanges between the woman and Faisal Ibrahim were mutual and consensual. Only when Faisal Ibrahim tried to cease communication with her, did she get upset and start harassing him and then reported the matter to the PMO office. Matter also referred to police due to both sides alleging harassment.

However this raises the fundamental question, this woman has single handedly compromised a sitting minister in the SG govt. And to a larger extent affected the integrity of the PAP and other members.

Now the question arises, if she is able to compromise a sitting minister in the govt, what else does she have the ability to do? While in this case for now its been determined to be a purely romantic exchange.

She should still be arrested and detained indefinitely under the Internal Security Act (ISA) for espionage or other laws. Because in my opinion she could potentially pose a national security threat to SG based on the skills and tactical knowledge she possesses. ISD really needs to intervene in here and take serious actions.

Because my fear is this that in future, she could potentially become a conduit or used as a proxy by foreign forces or intelligence services to penetrate into not only in the administration side but also other sensitive areas.

Let's be honest over here, Faisal Ibrahim was no ordinary minister. He was the Minister in charge of Muslim Affairs. Its a very sensitive position due to Singapore's history and also the neighboring countries we have around us. Hence with the sensitive position Faisal held, ISD has to step in and take the proper actions in my opinion.

Because end of day ISA overrides all other legislation
