Confession
I never threw out the stuff Gambit gave me that I said I was going to throw out. I couldn’t bring myself to do it.
Do I have to?
I still sleep with Snorlax.
He’s become a sort of “security blanket” the past couple years.
Snorlax needs to be washed tomorrow.
He’s looking well worn at the moment.
And flat.
Wish him luck. Send him prayers.
I’ll be a mess if he doesn’t make it out in one piece.
On second thought… I’ll just hand wash him.
I can’t risk it.
I’m like a child with their favorite stuffie.
Even if I got one just like him.
It wouldn’t be MY Snorlax.
With all the memories I’ve imbued on him.
MY Snorlax, who has comforted and absorbed all my tears.
I started crying thinking about him not coming out of the washing machine the same. Something is seriously wrong with my amygdala. 🤦🏻♀️
The point is…
MY Snorlax! You can’t have him!
*crosses arms*
*sticks out tongue*
