Am I the girlfriend?

For context: my ex fiance and I are working things out because of me going through his phone. (I found nothing) But we are working on our relationship. Just this last week or so he’s been telling his gamer friends (which are basically his only friends) he’s been calling me “his girl” to them. I asked some friends around and my psychiatrist/therapist if that implies that I’m his girlfriend. What do you guys think? By him telling his friends that I’m his girl, does that mean I’m technically his girlfriend?
