This is the best thing I've ever done. So bored with the premade families in 4 I don't really feel a connection to, I decided to create my favorite sims missing from the franchise. I made the Bachelor family, Simis, Jocasta, and Michael. The Broke family with Flo, Flat, Ruby, and Skip. The Newbie family with Betty, Bob, and Brandi. I followed their story lines with some deviations. Michael and Ruby fell in love and have two children, Florence (named after Flo) and Simeon (named after Simis). Brandi and Skip got together to have Dustin, Beau, and unborn baby Broke (a girl I named Penny :)

I did have Skip die of overexertion trying to care for his family, but grinded his soul's journey beforehand for burning soul and rebirth. He was reborn into the Landgraab family as a teenager, became a professional athlete. During this time, I played out the story line of Brandi, Dustin, Beau, and Penny being horribly broke. Dustin worked part time as a landscaper just like Skip before he died, Brandi followed her cooking passion in culinary slowly working up from a dishwasher. Eventually Skip and Brandi fell back in love and had a beautiful wedding (soulmates reunited!). Now flush with Landgraad money, he moved them into the same neighborhood and are neighbors with Ruby, Michael, Bella, and Mortimer. It makes my heart so happy. I also unexpectedly had Nancy decide Skip should be the legacy heir over Malcolm (Skip's rebirthed father). Going to cook up something interesting for that storyline.

My family trees for all of them are so flushed out now. I also added Gunther Goth back into the family tree for the goths. He's still around, living with them and a great grandfather to Alexander and Cassandra. I also added Gunther's parents who have already passed and buried in the backyard graveyard. I'll be working on the Newsomes next. They'll be in Copperdale replacing the other premade families there. I'm having so much more fun following and deviating the stories that made me a life long sims fan. Wish EA would have taken more care with the legacy of this franchise. It feels much more fulfilling!

Edit\* I also had Don Lothario be his cassnova self, causing mayhem and affairs. He did have a daughter, Valentina, with Eva Capricciosa. Unexpected things that happened: Don became very interested in using the telescope and was abducted by aliens and impregnated having a son. He lied to Eva and said it was her baby. Eva also loved using the telescope and was killed by a meteor. I decided to keep her on as a ghost. She eventually uncovered the secret that Don's alien son was not her baby. This led to a run in with his alien son's mother, Pollinator 3. Eva and Pollinator 3 fell in love HAHAHA. They decided to get married and kicked out Don lmao. Now they live in strangeville and are raising Eva and Don's daughter, Valentine Lothario and Pollinator 3 and Don's son Adonis Lothario together as a happy family. Don of course moved on and is now still causing affairs and being his usual self. So much unexpected fun from that one that happened randomly. They're one of my favorite families. I'll be playing out Adonis similar to the Smith family from Sims 2. He has a major crush on Christie Sigworth :)
