Overtime worked

Hey guys, I know this is kinda weird and a little bit on the no brainer side. I'm from Canada and I worked for a DSP with an averaging of 40hr/week, i dont know if we all have this kind of policy. The question is, I worked for more than 40hrs on the 1st week and 30 on the 2nd, but I didnt get all the OT for the 1st week which is kinda sus since we agreed on an averaging and everything that goes more than that is an OT, right? You can correct me if I'm wrong and thank you for the insights.
