Changing préfecture in the middle of TdS demand? Still no prolongation issued and I have a hospital stage coming up in October. Should I get a lawyer?
Hello,
Sorry for yet another Titre de Séjour post, but I'm not sure what to do and am running out of time.
I am married to a French guy. My visa expires June 20 and I sent my TdS application early April. I am currently located in Marseille, but I will be moving to Grenoble to begin school. I will have a stage on a hospital in October, and I'm assuming I'll need a valid TdS at this point.
- I contacted ANEF once, 3 weeks ago, about receiving an attestation of prolongation, and they said they're getting to it .
- should I go ahead and get a lawyer now? I don't want any problems for school
- should I update my address to Grenoble, moving my file to this préfecture? Or would it be clever to use my husband's parents' address in Marseille
Thank you for any advice or anecdotes
