How are you keeping track of all your MCP servers and AI agents? [I will not promote]
Genuine question for people deep in the AI-tooling world right now.
Between MCP servers, agents, and a dozen AI tools, I’ve completely lost track of what’s connected to what which servers are up, what tools they expose, whether I’m about to hit a usage limit somewhere. It’s the same “too many endpoints, no single view” problem we used to have with APIs.
I build a native Htt p/WebSocket client for iPhone, and it struck me that an MCP server is basically another endpoint I could talk to directly inspect it, call its tools, watch the responses live. And once you can talk to it, you can build alerts on top: usage limits, status changes, events pushed to your phone instead of living in some dashboard you forget to check.
Before I go build it: how are you managing this today? Is the “track my MCPs + get notified” problem real for you, or am I inventing it?
What would actually be useful vs. noise?
