Can I wear my hoops at night to sleep?

Hello So on one ear Ive had my studs for a year and the other ive had my studs for 3 months. Im getting two sets of hoops on each side that are made of surgical steel and all are 3mm thick. However, the bottom one is 17mm in diameter and the top one is 15mm. Can i sleep in them or no? I know I will have to wait for a few months to put the hoops on the new studs but after that, I want to be able to wear them 24/7. Is that possible?
