Season 7 has included some great improvements to invasion but the lack of a queue system continues to make this mode incredibly tedious to play

The main problem with the current system is auto canceling searching for an invasion after some time which makes queuing genuinely painful when it should be as simple as clicking a button once and waiting

There are also other issues like quick play automatically putting you into another reagent match if it can't find an imposter match fast enough making it essentially the same as selecting play reagent only which discourages people from using quick play at all because the only way to play as imposter is to queue for it specifically. Additionally, invasions often happen mid way or close to the end of a trial because of the current setup which makes it a waste of time to even join

What needs to happen is firstly, remove the auto cancel when waiting for imposter and instead have a proper queue

Secondly, when you queue for quick play your spot in the queue needs to be kept throughout your reagent trial so that when it finishes you will be close to the front of the queue for an imposter invasion. Also at the end of the trial it should never progress to another trial automatically it should be up to the player to decide if they want to wait for an imposter match or continue playing as a reagent

Finally, to encourage people to stay in quick play, let reagents pick a trial from 3 options instead of randomly selecting a trial. Some trials are just miserable to play as reagent and being able to pick a trial instead of dodging and going back to the lobby would make people far more likely to use quick play (personally there is not a chance in hell I will ever be playing get out the vote on invasion lol)

PLEASE RED BARRELS I BEG

A proper queue system needs to be included in the next update
