GSD I'm worried if I should take him to the vet

He recently got neutered 5 days ago. The medicine they gave me ran out. He still looks swollen and red around the area he got fixed is his sack. It did get smaller but has stayed around that size for a day now. He is eating and using the bathroom normally. He is a german shepard 94 pounds and win west texas.
