Not allowed to look good when disabled?

Do you ever feel like when you are looking good attractive wise, people think you can’t be physically disabled and there must be something mentally wrong with you instead?

And then when you are looking like shit…people are thinking well it makes sense because you aren’t taking care of yourself.

So it’s like you can’t win. Because if you take care of yourself and look good at certain times, you must be faking it or you have a mental disorder.

But do you ever feel like you are not allowed to look good as a disabled person? Like that somehow disqualifies you to be disabled? I’m talking about when it’s invisible and you aren’t using mobility aids.

For example, say you still have some decent muscle, you clean up well every once in a while. So to the average person, you look normal. This is when you were able to get a proper haircut after months of looking like a cave person.

Like do you ever look in the mirror and be like damn, I actually look pretty good today. Even you are in disbelief you are disabled lol

But you know you are because you feel like shit constantly and feel completely wiped out most of the day.
