Face Injection site for Immunoglobulin

Rabies Vaccine / Immunoglobulin

I had an encounter with a bat that basically flew and bounced off the left side of my face.

Went to the ER and was administered the vaccine in my right arm and immunoglobulin split half in my face in multiple locations and then in my left arm.

I’m not certain they actually put the shot where the bat hit me. I don’t think I was bitten but possibly scratched.

Does it matter where the shot was administered or just that I got it somewhere in that location or got it in general?

Thank you

I have read the faq.
