Potash project getting closer to early production, curious how people see this setup

I came across a recent update from a small potash development company in Saskatchewan and wanted to get some thoughts here.

They outlined plans for an initial production module at their main project, with early production targeted around 2027. The approach involves drilling new vertical wells and building out solution mining infrastructure to support a smaller first phase of production before scaling up.

From what I understand, this first module is meant to generate early cash flow while also providing real operational data to support future development decisions.

The company also recently completed a funded private placement, which is supporting the next stage of work.

Their earlier economic study suggests relatively quick payback once production begins, assuming performance matches expectations.

Overall it feels like a shift from development into early production planning, but still heavily dependent on execution and timelines.

Curious how others here view this kind of transition stage, does early production planning reduce risk meaningfully or is it still too early to treat it as de-risked?
