What happened to going to the cape with Nancy, Anderson and her cousins??

Alex said she is going on a mini vacation with her mom and maybe her cousins. Did the cousin's bail? Looks like now they just went to the local beach for a few days in a row. Also I'm still curious why she never went anywhere with Yar. What happened to the Dominican trip? They really never spend any time together as a family. It feels like Alex would rather just be with her mother than her husband and her husband can't stand being with her either. It's just so strange. If I had her money my husband and I would be constantly taking our baby places to make memories.
