A few questions from a second-day noob
About me: 34yo male, overwaight with about 40lbs. Currently on calorie counting(idk if its deficit, im at 2200cals a day). I was strength training before I got a shoulder injury like a year ago. I underwent surgery, several physical therapies, but my shoulder is not healed yet.
My questions:
- Yesterday I ran 2.3km with breaks inbetween. At the end my hr got to 198bpm due to a big hill. Is that okay or should I take it easier?
- When should I run - in the morning on an empty stomach, after I have breakfast, several hours after that? I woke up today and I haven’t had breakfast and I feel that my legs aren’t there at all.
- My motivation is that I don’t see the point of carrying literally 40lbs of something that limits me and tires me. I would very much want to enjoy running, but I always hated it. I prefer walking as a sport 10000x at the moment and I do regularly over 15k steps. Any tips on consistency in my case?
