Having a difficult time healing my internal haemorrhoids

I’ve had internal haemorrhoids for a while now and I’ve been struggling to heal them. I think maybe because I have some flare ups where maybe I might be straining a bit, haven’t been eating/drinking right or haven’t cleaned the area properly (this usually happens if I’m out somewhere and only have access to toilet roll). What’s the key to healing internal haemorrhoids because I’ve had a hard time with them for a bit now. It feels like they’ll never go away. Any tips or advice from other people’s experiences are much appreciated
