Marketplace sellers

WHY do the people on marketplace seem like they aren’t even interested in selling their dolls? I’m so tired of searching tooth and nail for dolls, willing to drive hours for them and get replies like “oh sorry I forgot to take the listing down” like huh?

I found my grail doll a couple nights ago in decent condition. Each doll was individually priced and the seller explained what was missing for each doll. So I messaged the seller and asked if she was still available. “I want to sell them as a lot” WHY ARE THEY INDIVIDUALLY PRICED THEN 😭 you’ve got to be kidding. It doesn’t even feel worth it anymore, like the fun of searching for secondhand dolls is totally gone for me. If I thrift a doll it’s got half of its hair chopped off, no limbs, sharpie all over for 8 bucks. If I try to find them on depop they’re ridiculously overpriced or the seller doesn’t seem trustworthy. If I try to buy them on marketplace someone has listings up Willy nilly or have some ridiculous reasoning as to why they don’t want to sell the dolls. It’s so frustrating, I’m fatigued and I’m tempted to just sell my entire collection because collecting doesn’t feel fun anymore. Does anyone else feel this way? I’ve been a longtime monster high fan and I’ve been seriously collecting for about 3 years, and I just feel exhausted.
