Shallow Theories And Thoughts From a Casual Reader That Just Finished Episode 4

Hi guys just got through the question arcs yipee! I heard that you can solve everything at this point, but I feel like thats too much effort. At the same time it would be a waste to at least not try a little so I decided to give it a go before starting the answer arcs. Please don’t spoil me directly, but I would like to know how close I am if I am at all.

Ok, so I want to at least try to find out who did all the murders. I crossed off all the kids just off of vibes and because they dont really seem to have any real reason to kill EVERYBODY except maybe George since he wants to marry Shannon, but that seems a little extreme considering he could lowkey just do it anyways and go away. Also Kinzos dead so hes off but it creates a person X like Battler said. Kumasawa is too old to be engaging in this tomfoolery and Gohda just cooks stuff wtf could he be mad about, so I cross them off.

Now I’m left with the adults, person X, Nanjo, Genji, and Shanon and Kanon. I honestly am not certain on who to cross out here, but heres my very weak rationale. Nanjo and Genji I feel like are accomplices in some way since they obey orders and probably knew about Kinzos death, but they dont have a good reason to kill everybody either. So I crossed them off for now. Rosa seems to not want to do anything with the family and would rather be away unloading KO combos on Maria than kill, so shes off.

Now Im at the point where everyone has a motive to kill. Krauss and Natsuhi are covering Kinzos death for some reason since they “meet him” or “talk to him” in private but the fuckers dead so they are lying. But Krauss always dies with his body in tact so it leaves no room for me to think how he could kill everybody when hes dead before everyone dies. And Natsuhi seems devoted to Krauss and killing him would go against her character so I just think that neither of them could be the killer. Eva and Hideyoshi are super sus, and maybe took part of killing a few people, but why kill George in every game? Crossing them out. Rudolf and Kyrie are also super sus to me. On the surface I dont see why they would kill everybody but Kyrie is a yandere and Rudolf somehow was aware he was going to die and their corpses had their full heads destroyed so what if that was a fake out and they came back to kill everybody? What if person X was a body double? That would be a problem since theres only one person X to be a body double for one of them and not both UNLESS theres 2 person X’s?

I think Kanon is not real. We never see him and Battler directly interact, which is really odd and I think board Battler POV is always a safe bet in reality, so not being in that is really fucky. Also whenever he has a chance to say his real name, he never does. So, what if he doesn’t have a real name because hes fake? Idk how Kanon being fake works narratively but it makes more sense to me than not. So him being fake means another person X to exist.

So now we have Shannon, Rudolf, Kyrie, and 2 people X. I think the 3 named ones could pull off a bait and switch with dead body coverups using people X. But out of the 3 I think Shannon might be the overall killer. Mainly cause Beatrice said Battler had a sin 6 years ago that caused people to die (aka his family dying) and I think that sin was forgetting that he promised love to Shannon, which is fucked up to forget about if she feels the same way back. So this gives Shannon who already seems miserable, false broken hope to fuel her motive to possibly kill everybody. This also makes me think Beatrice = Shannon? So Beatrice saying she is responsible for killing the family is true if Shannon is the killer? But why kill George? Also why not just marry George first? Idk the more I think about it the more questions I generate but at least I can go somewhere with this, unlike Kyrie and Rudolf who, beyond doing some body double shit, I can’t figure out where to go from.

So I have zero confidence in who I think is the murderer, but I think its Shannon. And jf not Shannon I think its Kyrie and Rudolf. And if not them than Ill just go fuck myself I guess. Person X did it if all else fails.

In conclusion, my reasonings are very weak and have no robust logic to them, but I feel like some stuff I said is right and would like to know what.

Forgot to mention that I am assuming that the killer is the same for all 4 games.

I also realized that everyone in my reasoning could do a body double trick. Im fucking dumb I give up lol.
