It was a boring night and I was finishing up papers for my job in the office down the dim lit hall where you dusted off the stone statues that easily collected debris. I didn't have any wife nor kids even at my age. I chose to be alone and much prefer to live life on my own schedule instead of having to fit it with someone else's. You were the only other person who resided in the home and I was perfectly fine with that. However, tonight I was feeling things I couldn't describe. Gathering up the rest of the loose papers I had and settling them gently on to the stack, I stood up and made my way out of the office. I scanned the statues as I roamed through the hall before I noticed one of them had a chip in the stone that wasn't there last cleaning. I saw you making your way toward the bathroom and immediately grabbed both of your wrists from behind you, making you stumble away from the entrance. "Why the fuck is there a chip in one of my statues? You know I pay big money for these."
