Seeking Help: CPA Prerequisite Course Is Full – Any Advice?

Hi everyone,

I’m going into my fifth year in UBC Sauder Accounting and could really use some advice.

I wasn’t able to get into one of the CPA prerequisite courses during registration, and now both sections are completely full. Although I should still meet my UBC graduation requirements without this course, I need it to satisfy the CPA prerequisite requirements.

I’ve already submitted a Registration Assistance Form through UGO, but I’m not sure how likely it is to be approved.

Has anyone been in a similar situation before? Were you able to get into the course later, or did you complete the CPA prerequisite another way after graduation?

I’m an international student, so I’m hoping to complete all of the required courses before my study permit expires, which is why I’m a bit worried.

I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share.
