I got an incredible deal on an Immaculate 1993 F-350 RWD and I couldn't pass it up. I'm finding out now that like 90% of the OBS out there are 4x4's (solid axle) and I've been told the clearance on those is different than the Twin I-Beam Coil Spring front suspensions. I am currently putting a 3" SkyJacker lift on this pickup, but I don't know what size tires will fit beneath it without having to do trimming or have bad rubbing. Basically, I can't just lookup 3" lifts on any OBS F-350 and assume whatever fit on a solid axle 4x4 will also fit on my truck. I expect that a 35" tire is right around the limit, which is all I want, but I obviously don't want to purchase the tires unless I'm pretty sure they will fit (up to minor plastic trimming). I also don't want to purchase a certain wheel if there are measurements that should scream "dont buy me!" if I am expecting to put them on this pickup with a 3" lift. 



I'm going to replace the wheels and tires, 16" preferable, up to 17" max wheel size. What I'm wanting to know is the maximum tire size I can put in without having to make modifications to the truck body. I'd also like to know if there's anything I should be looking for with wheels specs that should set off red flags in my head if I see them, like a particular "back spacing" or something like that. In a perfect world, the tires will stick out just a little, maybe an inch at most, not trying to do anything wild, as a 3" lift suggests. I am looking at 0 to -18 offset on a 16" or 17" wheel. 



Any suggestions on things I should be looking at to give myself the most certainty on the best fitment.....instead of just buying 33s that I'm certain will fit. I'd like to get the most tire as I can without rubbing or trimming. If push comes to shove, I'll just play it safe and buy 33s, but I'd love to fit 35s underneath if I was certain they would fit without a whole bunch of trimming.
