I don’t feel like I’m allowed to be feminist because I’m non-binary.
And I wanna talk about it here.
And maybe it’s a dumb post because I’m an insecure teenager or something, but I need to get it off my chest.
I identify as non-binary. I am biologically female.
I love supporting women. I love fighting for women, and I love diversity.
But sometimes I feel like identifying as trans/nonbinary is a complete contradiction of that. I feel like I’m enforcing gender roles by saying “I don’t identify as a woman. I don’t feel like a woman.”
But at the same time, I feel so comfortable being non-binary. I’ve never been this confident before. I feel good this way. I feel good supporting other trans people. This is the most confident I’ve ever been.
But that makes me feel guilty. I don’t know who to talk to.
I wanna cry.
Am I doomed? Should I just end it? Or do I just have to accept that I’m a hypocrite for the rest of my life?
I feel like a knot or a weird unsolvable puzzle.
I’m scared to post this but I want an opinion from different sides. I wanna see what people have to say so I can form my own opinion.
I want peace. Or something like that. Do I want peace? I don’t know.
